Sony Ericsson announced a new 15mm thick, triband GSM smartphone yesterday specially for the Chinese market, the M608c. Reading emails and viewing high quality video and graphics content is made easy with the 3-way Jog Dial and a 2.6” QVGA screen. It runs on Symbian OS 9.1 and it features an internal memory of 80MB with 64MB Memory Stick Micro M2.


Other specs include E-mail client, USB, Bluetooth, Flight mode, Infrared, Speakerphone, Opera 8 browser and support for RSS feeds. The onboard media player has support for MP3, AAC, ACC+, E-AAC+ and m4a formats. The M608C is available in Granite Black and Crystal White and starts shipping during Q3 2006.
